Despite Metcalfe County’s big fourth period – in which it outscored Logan County 18-11 – the Lady Cougars were able to make late free throws and come away with a hard-fought 53-50 win in the quarterfinals of the Girls’ Region 4 Tournament on Monday night at E.A. Diddle Arena.
